Winter of 2020/2021 Covid was still effecting the world in a big way and sporting events throughout the world where getting cancelled. The On The Road team came together and in this time of darkness thought we should try to bring a bit of light to the world through raising money for charities by taking on cycling challenges that push even the experienced cyclist to the limits, such as the Everest challenge by doing hill repeats until you hit an elevation of 8849m (trust me not easy in a 24 hour period.) And so On The Road was born and together with our passion for cycling and our love of the island, we now look forward to sharing some of our incredible journeys with you.
If you're a cycling enthusiast and love being on the road then this is for you, whether you ride at an average of 20kph or 30kph, we have guides to accommodate you.
Rides will vary from 35km - 100+km depending on the group with an average pace usually of around 25kph.
We have limited space and each week will cater for 8 riders. This allows us to give a more personal touch and provide you with the best experience possible.
