James is from Ireland where he spent his youth representing Northern Ireland in the sailing world where he turned it into a full time job by working in the Super yacht industry for the last 8 years where he has travelled the world.
James started the instagram page @officiallazyathlete and @puffin15 where he shares his sporting challenges and charity events such as raising €9000 euros for Guide dogs UK by taking on the Mallorca 312 cycling event and helped raise €5000 euros for Marine Inspirations by taking on the very hard Everest challenge where you try and cycle the height of Everest in elevation in a day. James has spent the last 5 years based in Mallorca where he has cycled every route on the island more than once.
Recently he has takin on the challenge of training for an Iron Man race just to beat Guin who is an Ironman veteran.
Guin is our proudly South African, sunset loving, triathlete enthusiast. She spent her younger years swimming competitively and represented SA in Stillwater Lifesaving. Having grown up in a running household, she naturally progressed onto biathlon and later on to triathlons. She has competed in several Ironman 70.3 events and took on her first full Ironman in 2019. She recently also became a member of @puffin15 and the @officiallazyathlete and helped raise funds for charity doing the Mallorca 312 Challenge and Everest Challenge.
Having qualified as a Quantity Surveyor, she spent 5 years working as a project manager before meeting her now husband who introduced her to the world of yachting. Although home for her will always be South Africa, having now spent several years in Mallorca, she has developed a great love for the island and she hopes to share this with the world together with her passion for cycling and adventure!
